oplink mini no access to settings

by power67 » Thu Sep 17, 2015 4:03 pm

Hello everyone,

Sorry if this has been asked before, but searching through the forum gets me all kinds of conflicting info.

I purchased a few oplink mini boards and I can flash the fw_pipxtreme.tlfw to the board, but I can not access the setting. I see that there are a few flashing data packets and the rx/tx lights on the board are flashing, but the settings are grayed out.

I flashed firmware from taulabs_master_20150713_224905_4b9fc7dc46 release.

Am I missing something in the process? I am trying to follow the directions from the wiki.

Any assistance would be great.

Thanks

You need to run the RFM22 binding wizard, which is on one of the pulldown menus.

Basically the pipxtreme is a bridge and other than its settings, everything is grey and it acts like the telemetry link is down... Until you end up talking to the remote board.

Also please note the remote board must not be powered by USB after binding for you to be able to talk to it.

Go to the pull down menu and pick RFM22 binding wizard.
