TauLinkModule - gauging interest

by peabody124 » Tue May 12, 2015 7:40 pm

Now that Sparky2 is available, I'd like to gauge interest people have in TauLink and/or TauLinkModule. If there isn't much interest I'll just release the files soon CC-BY-SA and people can make themselves or maybe someone will do it. If htere is more interest then I'll try and get the Sparky2 manufacturer to do it and probably need to release -NC.

I think it is a great combination with the Sparky 2.0 and the TaulinkModule in the Taranis.

At the moment i am still tuning my first quad with a quanton and may replace it with the sparky 2.0 in the future, but not sure about that.
I also have plans for another quad where this would be great (150mm, 3inch brushless).

But if the normal Taulink could be used as a RX Module (connected with UART to the FC, but otherwise having the same functionality as the internal radio on the Sparky 2.0 like RC, Telemetry,...) together with the TaulinkModule in the Taranis would also be nice, and i could replace the FrSky RX and the BT module on my Quad if the price is not to high.

I am interested either way . I would love to buy one, or I would still be interested in making one.

I have the TauLink USB module, but would like to have the TauLink as a TX module in my Taranis in combination with my Sparky 2
