" ReturnTo Home " flight mode altitude setup

by hank.su1968 » Wed Feb 17, 2016 11:48 am

Dear all senior members:

Does anyone know how to setup the altitude for the " ReturnTo Home " flight mode?

I couldn't find the parameter in the System.

Thanks in advance...

Preset to a minimum of ~15m. If below 15m it will rise to 15m and fly home. If already at 15m or greater it will rise an additional 1.5m and try to maintain that altitude while flying home.

Hello pug398 or other Taulabs masters:
Thanks so much for the help.
Does anyone know what the reason the preset altitude is or has to be 15m? As I know in OP Revo, the default value for RTH is 10m, and it can be changed. It is a little scary to rise the quad up so fast in a very short time.
I saw the footage by AlPackin on the Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUJB3ex5P2o
It was very nice, but the altitude or speed seems too fast for the novice like me.
Is there any way to setup new altitude and speed for RTH? I can't find in GCS/System.

Thanks again...

RTH minimum altitude is not adjustable in TL. Max vertical velocity in RTH is not independently adjustable in TL. If RTH vertical velocity is too high for your craft then in settings>vtolpathfollowersettings reduce VerticalVelMax from 2m/s to 1m/s till you get comfortable with it.
