UBQ 180

Just started re-wiring this one after I fried my ESCs. This was an open pilot cc3d machine but after the good experience I've had with tau on my larger sparky based quad I'm going to switch this little guy over to tau as well.

I'll post a parts list soon. (parts list posted below)

Hooked up ESCs to motors and did the open pilot vehicle setup routine. Everything seems copacetic. First I'm going to get it in the air then see about switching over to tau labs.

UBQ 180

Got everything tied down and ready to go. Sadly my first few test flights have ended with the UBQ falling from the sky like a lead balloon after the props stopped turning. I've redone my hand made satellite cable and touched up my ESC solders so maybe that's fixed it. I'm pretty sure it was due to a brown out as the motors started up again as it was falling. Hard to tell when it all happens so fast.

Progress! I've fixed my solders and added some hot glue to keep my ridiculously delicate motor wires from breaking. Then I setup (painlessly, thanks to a well thought out GCS) my CC3D with Tau Labs. Sweet, sweet remote controlled flight! I Finally got in a full battery's worth of flight. It needs some tuning and so next stop is autotune. I'll see if I can post my results once I do that.

Also, here's my parts list for those interested:

    - UBQ 180 unibody frame
    - Andoer CC3D Flight Controller
    - Emax PM1306-2800Kv motors
    - 18A Spider Lite Series ESC SIMONK
    - GemFan 4025 Props (Nylon)
    - ZIPPY Compact 1000mAh 3S 25C Lipo
    - Lemon Satellite Receiver DSMX
    - RTF Mini Power Distribution Board
    - RTF 1v-17v Adjustable Voltage Regulator

Is there a good doc that describes how to use the TxPID page? I've never messed with tuning before (outside of the autotuner) and need some guidance.

Video on how to setup TxPID so you can tune it using the tx box while outdoors
https://forums.openpilot.org/topic/1485 ... -tutorial/

You can tune via the pc gcs and android gcs as well using a telemetry link.
